Scales

Buy precision scales – accuracy from 0.001 g

27 digital scales, from pocket models to jewellery scales. All with a tare function, most with a lid that doubles as a weighing tray.

Accuracy

• 0.1 g – for larger quantities up to 500 g, e.g. Dipse MTW and Josh's MR5
• 0.01 g – the standard, up to 200 or 400 g. Triton T2 and T3, various pocket scales
• 0.001 g – jewellery scales up to 50 g, for very small quantities

What to look out for

Accuracy and maximum weight are linked: the finer the resolution, the lower the capacity. A 0.01 g scale with a 200 g maximum covers almost everything. A flat, firm surface is important – on a soft base every scale fluctuates. After switching on, wait briefly until the display shows zero.

Models with a solar calculator in the lid or in card form hardly look like scales. Free shipping throughout Switzerland.
